** John Carraway Sr and Ann Elizabeth Foster were married previously and only married each other after the deaths of their first spouses. Ann Elizabeth had children with her first spouse and John did not have children with his first wife. Ann Elizabeth Foster was married to Roger Williamson in 1635 Lydd, Kent, England and had four children named: Richard Williamson b.1645
Lynnhaven, Lower Norfolk, Colony of Virginia, British Colonial America d. 1692, Bartholomew Williamson b. 1637 d. 1698 in England, John Williamson b. 1649 and died in England (No death date or place given), Sarah Williamson b. 1649 in St. Margaret's, Canterbury, Kent, England and died (no death date or place given). John Carraway Sr. was married to Joan Towenzende b. 1614 d, 1649. I also found out that John Carraway was transported to Lower Norfolk, Co., Virgina in 1644 as an indentured servant, by John Sidney. He settled in Lynnhaven Parish of Lower Norfolk, Co., Vargina. In 1663, John's wife Ann Caraway witnessed the will on John Sidney. In colonial times, a man such as for servants transferred from England to the colonies. After the servant worked in the colony for a given number of years, he was often given land.31 Apr 1646 - John CARRAWAY was appointed Constable for the Easterne Branch of Lower Norfolk County.**
